Chai Spiced Christmas cookies

2 cups Almond Flour

1/4 cup Coconut Flour

1/2 tsp baking soda

2 tsp vanilla extract

1/3 cup honey or maple syrup

1/3 cup melted butter or coconut oil

2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp ground ginger

1 tsp ground cardamom

1/2 tsp ground all spice

1/2 tsp ground cloves

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit)

Place all the ingredients into a bowl or electric mixer and combine.

Once the dough is fully mixed, form into a ball and cover with glad wrap.

Refrigerate for 30 minutes, or until dough is firm.

Place dough in between two pieces of baking paper or glad wrap.

Roll the dough until it is approximately 1/4 inch thick.

Using a cookie cutter cut out various Christmas shapes. If the dough feels too soft place back into the fridge for approximately 15-20 minutes.

Place your chai spiced cookie shapes onto a lined baking tray and bake for 8-10 minutes or until they turn golden brown.

Remove from the oven and allow to slightly cool before moving. Store in an air tight container.
